Powder Brows are the brows that look as though light makeup has been powdered onto the eyebrows. It is not a bold solid look like the traditional tattooing. Similar to traditional tattoo, this technique uses a machine quiet tattoo pen. The contrasting factor is that instead of full brow color saturation, swift sweeping movements combined with lower machine speeds create a pixelated “powder” appearance.  

Microblading is a type of cosmetic pigment placement under the skin. Microblading is also known as microstroking, feather brows, eyebrow embroidery and 3D brows. It has been around for years and is a popular way to achieve symmetrical eyebrows that look more natural than traditional eyebrow tattoo. The procedure consists of micropigmentation (color) being placed under the top layers of skin manually with a hand tool that contains multiple, flexible needles that graze under the skin. The advantages of microblading? These tiny needles allow for definition and precision in the eyebrow area, creating strokes that look like real hair.

Similar to microblading, Digital Hairstroke pigment implantation delivers the look of individual hairs but utilizes a quiet tattoo machine pen instead of a hand tool. This pen is designed to gently draw hair strokes in the skin using a single nano tattoo microneedle with advanced tattoo technology. The hairstrokes created by this method settle under the skin providing a 3d hair tattoo appearance.

Touch ups, also referred to as color boost is a service for all of my existing, established clients. This is a service for clients that have had their brows done with me in the past 5 years. This is an appointment that covers stroke loss, shape adjusting, adding thickness and color refresh. Any service (Microblading, Digital Strokes, Powder Brow) can be done at this appointment. Pricing is based on the last appointment date you had with The Brow Nurse.
